RAGS is published in Arcola, Illinois -- birthplace of Johnny Gruelle (creator of Raggedy Ann and Andy), and home of the Annual Raggedy Ann & Andy Festival and the Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann & Andy Museum. The RAGS newsletter was started and published for 12 years by Barbara Barth of Atlanta, Georgia. In June, 2000, RAGS was purchased by Rankin Publishing Co. of Arcola, IL.
RAGS is published quarterly: February, July, September and December. RAGS is a paid subscriber publication and is the premier magazine of choice for Raggedy Ann and Andy Collectors and Enthusiasts. RAGS offers a free 40 word classified ad with a paid subscription. Additional words are 20 cents each. Non-subscriber rates are 40 cents per word. Advertising deadlines are the first of the month preceding publication.
